Are NHCO products really natural?

We only use the most effective plant and plant-based ingredients we can reasonably source. This includes clays, salts, herbs, flowers, oils, essential oils, and more. You won't find any chemicals, toxins, synthetic fragrances, or synthetic preservatives in NHCO products.​

 

Do your products only contain plant-based ingredients?

We do not use any animal ingredients in our skincare products, and only use plant, plant-derived, and natural ingredients.

 

When will my order arrive?

Please allow 3-4 business days (not including weekends) for your retail order to be packed and shipped. We'll send the tracking number to the email address you have on file. Wholesale orders require additional time to be packed and shipped, and a tracking number will be sent to the email address on file.

 

I have sensitive skin. What should I use?

We always recommend that anyone with skin sensitivities see their doctor before trying any new products. Just because something is natural doesn't mean it's safe for everyone. If you're cleared to try new products, we found that it's best to start with unscented products first, then minty products, leaving floral and citrus last. We wouldn't recommend using numerous new products at the same time, either.​

 

What should I do if my product is melted?

During warm weather, some of our products may melt or soften during shipment, specifically polishes and scrubs. This is totally normal because coconut oil melts at temperatures over 76 degrees fahrenheit. Should this occur, simply place the item in the refrigerator for a few minutes, and it should re-solidify. Avoid opening a melted product, as it may spill unexpectedly and make mess.​

 

How long will my products remain fresh?

Since we don't use synthetic preservatives, the shelf life of our products aren't as long as those that do. Natural ingredients can be very delicate, so we recommend avoiding water contamination in the container, keeping out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time, and keeping the package completely closed to maintain the essential oil scent. We do, however, use natural preservatives in our formulations to keep you safe. When properly stored, NHCO products should last approximately 8-18 months of purchase.

Why should I avoid direct sunlight?

Natural products have an increased level of sun sensitivity, especially when they're not full of synthetic ingredients. Excessive sunlight may cause the oils and other ingredients in your NHCO products to go rancid. So when at all possibly, don't leave your products sitting in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

 

Why should I avoid water contamination in my product?

We've included a caution to avoid external water contamination so that your product doesn't go bad (water is the source of spoilage). We're not saying your item will immediately spoil if a little water gets in the bottle, but it isn't recommended to handle your NHCO products incorrectly.
